SharePoint login fix coming January 25

A project ITaP plans in January should relieve a variety of problems Purdue users are having with SharePoint.

SharePoint users are experiencing problems such as multiple prompts to sign in, or sometimes even being unable to sign in at all, along with issues accessing their documents and other items and with making use of SharePoint’s full functionality.

ITaP will undertake a process to resolve issues of this sort Saturday, January 25. There will be multiple email notifications before the work is set to begin, and users will receive an email with instructions on how to sign in once the process is complete.

The SharePoint issues are related to the migration from the OnePurdue to the BoilerAD system. ITaP will be working one-on-one with a handful users who have been actively using their BoilerAD account within SharePoint, and for whom the fix requires a different approach. These users will be contacted directly to make arrangements for the work to be done.
