Need help with the transition to Brightspace? Get started here

The transition from Blackboard Learn to the D2L Brightspace Learning Management system is now in full swing, and instructors are encouraged to attend workshops and other training events to become familiar with the new system.

Brightspace will be the only learning management system in use on the West Lafayette and Fort Wayne campuses starting in fall 2020. Purdue Northwest will fully implement Brightspace by fall 2021.

For 2020 summer courses on the West Lafayette campus, Brightspace will be the default system – but instructors can request to use Blackboard Learn if they prefer. More information about how to opt out will be available soon.

To help prepare for the transition, workshops and other training opportunities have been created to help faculty move content and set up their courses well in advance of the start of classes to avoid expected delays.
