Envision Center hosting ITaP student poster session on April 25

Student workers from Research Computing and other areas of ITaP will present digital posters about their work at the Envision Center on Monday, April 25 from 1-5 p.m. The Purdue community is invited to attend and learn more about the projects students have worked on.

The event will also serve as a recruiting event for ITaP departments, including Research Computing. There will be departmental posters from Purdue Systems Security, IT Customer Relations and Process Management, Purdue Women in HPC and Research Computing, and representatives from those departments will be on hand to answer questions and discuss open job positions.

“Our students are doing work that advances science, Purdue, and the state of Indiana,” says Betsy Hillery, Research Computing's director of high performance computing. “We look forward to sharing their projects with the community."

Julian Triveri, a freshmen in computer graphics technology, who works for the Envision Center, will present his work developing virtual labs for nuclear engineering students, something that combines his interests in art and programming.

“I was at the poster session last semester and I had a great time meeting lots of people from ITaP,” says Triveri. “I’m really looking forward to being able to talk to everyone again.”
