New training for SharePoint 2013 basics, lists and document libraries available

A new course has been developed for SharePoint 2013 to instruct users on basics such as how to navigate a SharePoint site, how to upload documents to SharePoint and what elements commonly make up a SharePoint site, among other things.

Workshops also are planned on working with SharePoint lists and with the SharePoint documents library.

SharePoint Basics. Sessions of the course will be offered from:

  • 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19, in Stanley Coulter Hall, Room 183.
  • 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17, in Stanley Coulter Hall, Room 189.
  • 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28, in Stanley Coulter Hall, Room 189.

Users who are new to SharePoint or those who want to better understand the changes between SharePoint 2010 and SharePoint 2013 will benefit from the course.
