WiFi: PAL 3.0, Eduroam

Purdue AirLink, known as PAL, is the wireless network utilized on the University’s West Lafayette campus. It connects wireless-ready laptops, smartphones and other mobile devices to the Purdue network and, through the Purdue network, to the Internet.

PAL is accessible in most areas on campus, including academic buildings, administrative buildings and the common areas of most residence halls.

Students, faculty and staff can connect to PAL by choosing PAL 3.0 under available Wi-Fi networks on their device and logging in with their Purdue username and password.

Request Guest Access

Guest Airlink accounts will be limited to those instances where guests require access to internal Purdue resources. Guests may use one of two free wireless networks on campus:

  • AT&T Wi-Fi
  • Eduroam

Information about both wireless services can be found on our About Airlink page.

Purdue staff members may request AirLink account(s) for distribution to Purdue guest(s) for legitimate purposes, such as those in need of access to Purdue resources while on campus. We are required to maintain accurate identity information for the guests who use AirLink accounts.

Guest account request forms can be found here:

In general, please allow two business days for processing. Accounts for multiple-guest requests will be ready in two business days, or next business day if submitted before noon. Accounts for individual-guest requests will be ready the next business day, or same day if submitted before noon.

Account(s) may be picked up in person from the ITaP Customer Service Center (CSC).

Photo ID required for in-person pickup. For more information, please contact the CSC.
