Virtual Microsoft Teams, SharePoint workshops scheduled for September

ITaP is partnering with Microsoft to host a series of webinars to help users get the most out of using Microsoft Teams and SharePoint. 

The webinars, led by professionals from Microsoft, are designed to introduce new users to the tools, which are available to all faculty and staff as part of Microsoft Office 365 and portal.office.com

  • Get started with Microsoft SharePoint Online; 10 a.m., Tuesday, Sept 20 
    This course focuses on the SharePoint Online experience in communication and team sites. Attendees will learn how to share and manage content, find information, and collaborate across their organization. This introductory course focuses on the experience for site members. 
  • Go further with Microsoft SharePoint Online; 2 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 22  
    This course expands on more advanced features of SharePoint Sites, focusing on Site Ownership and Architecture. Attendees of this course can expect to learn about sharing and permissions, workflow management, content types, and various site architecture components for building effective team sites. 
  • Get started with Microsoft Teams, 10 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 27 
    Get to know Microsoft Teams and learn the top five tasks to help you collaborate and get work done, all in one place. This course introduces the fundamentals of how to navigate the Teams app, meet in Teams, and start having conversations. 
  • Explore Teams and Channels in Microsoft Teams, 2 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 29 
    Learn how to collaborate with workgroups, access shared files, apps, and conversation threads. This course helps you understand team and channel structure and how to create and manage a team.
